Red Market co-owner and founder, Reynald Ricard is a master at creating gorgeous, natural-looking blondes using the French technique of balayage. Trained by Jacques Dessange as well as Bruno Pittini, this soft-spoken Frenchman also crafts precision haircuts built for your face shape and hair goals. Just do not expect him to divulge his life story — although he will happily listen to yours. That gift for listening is what lets him understand the look you are actually after. His goal is to make you feel gorgeous long after your appointment. Outside the salon you will find him playing golf or tennis, or at a cabin in the Catskills.

Precision cuts that grow out beautifully
Red Market owner Romain Perriniaux fell into the hair industry at fifteen. After honing his skills and his philosophy in Paris’ Saint-Germain-des-Prés, he discovered a love of the California lifestyle and headed west, spending two years practising his craft in West Hollywood salons and in private residences. Romain specializes in precision haircuts that grow out beautifully — that fresh-salon look weeks after the appointment. His cuts emphasise movement and effortless style. The moment he crossed the bridge into Manhattan for a Ralph Lauren campaign, he knew he had arrived where he was meant to be.

Saudy is a proud graduate of the Red Market Education Team, which led her to becoming one of our balayage, bright seamless blondes, curated natural curls, and eye-catching vivids specialists. She believes hair is one of our main accessories, so your color needs to complement you specifically — finished with a great blowout. When she is not behind the chair you will find this New York native soaking up the city, at the gym, or traveling.

Scissor cuts with movement, color on short hair
Dani Gallo trained at Arrojo Cosmetology School in SoHo, got her start assisting at Martial Vivot Salon Pour Hommes, and spent four years as a Senior Barber at Fellow Barber. She specializes in flowy scissor cuts with real movement and texture, and color work on short hair her clients know as “hair tattoos.” Her work is shaped by everything she sees in New York — the streets, the art, the people, the culture. She has been taking that same eye to Colombia, building her editorial portfolio along the way.
